If there’s one thing that I guess everyone experiences at work, it’s stress. Regardless of how much you love (or loathe) your job, you’d experience stress in one form or another. One of the ways I use to cope with stress is to eat sweets. As the popular saying goes, desserts is stressed spelled backwards.

This past December, I’ve been stressed out with quite a number of work-related matters. I’ve been reviewing day and night for two technical certifications (both of which I thankfully passed), organizing parties, and a whole lot more. Thankfully, there’s a holiday food bazaar in Eastwood Mall that sells two of my favorites from Mercato Centrale.

The first one are French Macarons from Empire. I absolutely love them, especially the Chili Chocolate flavor. The ones in the photo aren’t that colorful since the flavors I chose weren’t the fruity ones. It costs 35 pesos a piece, 3 for 100 pesos. You can also purchase a box of 12 and it will only cost 390 pesos.

The next one are cupcakes from Baked by Anita. Don’t let the size of their cupcakes fool you, they’re small but they’re really, really delicious. They’re the perfect example of quality over quantity in the cupcake world. Their cupcakes costs 37 pesos each.

I do hope that they’d extend their stay in Eastwood Mall. It’s pretty neat (and convenient) that my favorite anti-stress desserts are just a few minutes away.
